What a fun day! And a not so fun task of narrowing down favorites to preview haha. As a Green Bay wedding photographer I’ve shot at a LOT of locations but this was the first time I was at this specific church so I got there a little early to scout and wow what a great location! I was thrilled Ashlei wanted to do a first look with her dad and the raw emotion of the moment really shines through in the images. From the walk down the isle to the first dances, it was a day simply full of high moments. I asked Antony and Ashlei to share some of her thoughts from the day too! Enjoy!
When the two of you were planning the wedding together, what was the most fun part?
Ashlei – “Traveling to venues and vendors. So many places, so many ideas!”
How was experience before the ceremony, were you nervous? Excited?
Ashlei – “Excited but so nervous! I, Ashlei, was shaking like a leaf! And of course plenty of tears. Anthony says he was nervous too”
If you could go back and relive any one moment of the day, what would you go back to?
Anthony – “When the doors opened and you headed down the aisle.”
Ashlei – “I agree. Seeing each other for the first time in the church was amazing!”
Now that you’re a pro, what advice do you have for other brides planning their weddings?
Ashlei & Anthony – “Enjoy it. It goes so fast. I loved having a year and a half to plan. Not rushed and could really take it all in. Try and spend as much time with your new husband that day. It seemed we kept getting pulled in separate directions and that we didn’t spend much time together as a couple. Dance and enjoy your reception. Yes, you want to talk to your guests but also dance and have fun with them too.”
Now that you’re a pro, what advice do you have for other brides planning their weddings?
Ashlei & Antony – “We met seeing Daze 2 Nights band play in Crivitz and knew right away we wanted them at the wedding and they were amazing as always! Emily’s voice was stunning singing at the church! So many compliments on you the photographer as well! Pictures went quickly and smoothly. Fun poses. I don’t even have words to express how great the Green Bay Radisson was to work with. They did decorations, chair covers, sashes, ect. Servers were great!”
