Megan is an example of something that’s so great about being a photographer. We shot her senior pictures, then did her engagement pictures, and now her wedding, it’s always really cool (and a major honor) to be a part of those important milestones in a persons life. After we did their engagement session over the winter I knew they would have a very fun wedding day and not only did it live up to the dreams, but we were blessed with one of the most amazing sunsets of the year! I asked Bryan and Megan to share some of their thoughts from the day as well, enjoy!
When the two of you were planning the wedding together, what was the most fun part?
Megan – “When we were planning the wedding, the most fun part was when Bryan told me I could make whatever decisions I wanted because it was my wedding haha.”
How was experience before the ceremony, were you nervous? Excited?
Megan – “Before the ceremony I was really excited. I held all my emotions together but I was also somewhat nervous that I was gonna trip or something catastrophic was gonna happen.”
Were there any unforeseen problems that arose on the wedding day and if so, how did you work around them?
Megan – “There was one unforeseen circumstance that almost caused the ceremony to be delayed a little. Bryan, one of the groomsmen, and the best man were all pulled over about 3 minutes from Little River for speeding and we didn’t know if they were going to be late or what was going to happen, but thankfully they got off with minor punishments and were only a couple minutes later than the time they were supposed to arrive.”
If you could go back and relive any one moment of the day, what would you go back to?
Megan – “If I could go back to any moment in that day and relive it, it would have to be the dinner. The food was so amazing and I was so hungry. It was the best meal I’ve ever had in my life lol”
Now that you’re a pro, what advice do you have for other brides planning their weddings?
Megan – “Some advice for brides that are planning an upcoming wedding, if your groom is driving himself, please remind him to do the speed limit and wear his seatbelt ;)!”
Any shoutouts you want to give to any vendors or friends that helped you out in a special way?
Megan – “I want to give shout outs to my flower lady, my photographer, the staff at the venue and my parents. Flowers on State in marinette, WI did an outstanding job. I gave her exactly what I wanted and she went over the top and it was absolutely perfect. My photographer, CJ from Resolution photography, for capturing the most amazing pictures on our special day and for dealing with the rowdy bunch of groomsmen and bridesmaids! The staff at Little River Country Club for preparing such a delicious meal and making sure everything went smoothly, and finally my parents, Meg and Tim for making our wedding the best we could have imagined. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have these two in my corner at all times. My wedding was absolutely special and I’m so glad it all turned out the way it did!”
